Snicker’s new brother’s name is Peanut.  He’s a mini-daschund, only 10 weeks old, and  tooooo cute.  Scott and Kathy brought him to us from Indiana, and he is a pooping machine.  Experts on animal behavior claim that an animal can not expell more than it takes in.  Peanut has proven those experts wrong.  Also, apparently he does not get enough shoes, electrical wire, wood and newspaper in his diet, because he is constantly chewing on those delicious morsels.  Sometimes I think he doesn’t get enough poop in his diet either.  (Gross).

He and Snickers get along well together, and I think that Peanut is helping the old man (Snickers) to feel young again.  Snickers is 10 years old, which is 70 years old in “dog years.”  I, on the other hand, am 511 years old in dog years, but I don’t feel like a day over 400.

I am a 77 year old retired Northrop-Grumman Corp. Facilities Engineer. I worked at Northrop's Pico Rivera and Palmdale facilities for a total of 13 years, and retired 1n 1995. I have been married to my high school sweetheart for over 54 fantastic years, and we have 3 excellent children (all boys) 7 wonderful grandchildren, and 1 great grandchild. My hobbies are playing the piano (actually, more like learning HOW to play the piano) and restoring a 1937 Plymouth, although sadly, I have made very little progress on it in recent years. I drove road race go-karts until the age of 71. I never grew up, I just got old.
