For those younger family members who may not know much about me and the Love of my Life, we have been retired from the Northrop B2 stealth bomber program in Palmdale California for the past 15 years. We were both born in Massillon, Ohio, and lived there and in Canal Fulton, Ohio until 1969, when we moved to California. I spent 4 years in the U.S. Navy, assigned to the USS Hyman (DD732) from June 1954 to June 1958. We were married on January 4, 1957, while I was still in the Navy, and we will celebrate our 55th wedding anniversary on January 4, 2012.
We both have college degrees, mine is a Bachelors degree in Liberal Arts, and my honey’s is an Associates degree, also in Liberal Arts. I love animals, and my honey tolerates them. Currently, I am trying to learn to play the piano. I didn’t realize how much I didn’t know about playing until I started studying books, CD courses, and “free” online piano lessons. I hope to get back to restoring my 1937 Plymouth soon, but to date, I haven’t had much luck. But I’m not dead yet, so there’s still hope for the old Plymouth. Patriarch.
